By the time it was announced that this show would be canceled, I had already composed quite a bit of music. I gave everything a bit of polish and completed any unfinished work. Enjoy

I wrote these songs for a production of Lysistrata that was unrealized due to COVID-19. The setting was purposefully ambiguous - the women were living in the future while the men were clinging to the past. To emphasize this, I used electronic instruments with a rubato feel to represent the women, while the men were represented by brass and drums. When they come together, they make interesting music!
