This selection is my favorite song from this opera. A combination of choir mics and floor mics capture the voice — which needed little help in the Tryon Festival Theatre — while the orchestra accompanying him is heard through an amalgamation of different microphones for each instrument.

This selection highlights my use of sound effects in the show, going from a purely orchestral moment to the introduction of a new location - a barn.
